Thanks for watching my gallery! =)

Favourites

Things I really liked... wait, that's supposed to be the meaning of the "Favourites Folder" :O

Commissions

Sketch Commisions!!!
I'm currently accepting commisions just for ball-pen-made drawings. For example:

Lines-Only:

Pen & pencil:

All pen made (with many/few shadows/lighting):

Either OC's or other characters. Without a complex background.

There's no limit on commisions, but I'm accepting up to 5 commisions at the same time -per month-, if there are more than 5, then the rest will be put on "waiting", and until one or more commissions are done, I'll start with the pending ones and successively -priority will be determined by order: older commissions go first-.

Up to 2 commissions at the same time from the same person. Since there are only 5 "slots" per month, I want more people to enjoy my work =)

Thank you very much in advance! =)

*I'll be posting current changes and updates about drawings here*

I've been really busy with work these last days -fortunately =)-, with both commisioned paper mache/DAS clay figures and Logic tutoring ("Logic" is a subject in medium high-schools in my country, and it seems it's a difficult one for many students yet I don't blame 'em for asking for help with that...). I haven't had time to draw even a simple sketch... but I'll do my best with all the new work and stuff =)

I have some ideas for a few new drawings -or sketches-, but I still need to properly "land" 'em inside my mind before I grab pencil and paper to let them take shape. These last days also have been interesting and so much fun, thanks to my good friends -both from here and outside my country- =), and I feel very motivated to keep on working on all my latest projects =D Of course, you can expect some more nice pics of those in my gallery in the future once they're finished :dummy:

Thank you all!

Hi. You always do your projects with paper mache, so I thought you were the right guy to ask :) I'm making a little something, I've covered it in about 16 layers now and I think that's enough. I read about it on the net, but I just can't find enough info about the question I have... The last layer, I heared you have to cover it with printer paper because that makes the painting WAYY easier. Do you cover your things in printer paper for the last layer or do you just cover it in white acryls for easier painting? Cause I'm not sure if I should cover it in one layer of printer paper or 4 layers, like with the newspapers. Thanks :D

Thanks for asking =) The printer paper layer is an easier alternative to the white paint layer, personally, I never use said paper because it's a little thicker than the newspaper pieces, therefore it can alter the figure surface a bit and can be a little difficult to paste it -this is only if your paste isn't strong enough-. Two layers of white acrylic paint will be enough =)

And I only use paper mache to make the base structure, I make every other details with DAS clay =)

BTW: How did you do your paste -or what are you using as paste-?

Thanks so much for answering :3
Last time I made paper mache was in kindergarten when I was like 4-5 years old :P I just took a small plastic box from butter and added the whole tube of white paper crafting glue and then the rest of the box I pured in some water and mixed it all up.

There's another recipe for a better "paper mache paste" (we call it "engrudo" in spanish. Almost every pro alebrije-maker -you can always google "alebrije" if you don't know what does it mean =)- use this paste in their works). You need the following:

- Cold water (better if it's purified water, since the paste is perishable)*
- Wheat flour*
- A recipient you can put over fire or a small pot
- A stove

(*) You don't need much of these, just a cup of water and half a cup of flour will be enough for a medium-big sized figure =)

First, mix the flour and the water (its temperature must be less than warm, but not very cold either) in the pot, but don't add all the flour at once, drop some and stir with a spoon, when all the flour is dissolved, add some more and repeat until you're out of flour. Now you must put the pot on the stove, but -and this is REALLY important- on LOW FLAME, if the pot you're using is medium sized you can put the flame on MEDIUM at the start, then change it to LOW once it's hot, but never stronger than that. Use the same spoon you used before to slowly stir the mixture, it is important that you never stop stirring nor let it alone while it's on the stove because you may ruin, the mixture must cook as one, otherwise the paste won't be as strong as we expect it to be.

Once 5 or 8 minutes have passed, you must stay alert since your mixture will start to get thicker, this is absolutely normal (and that's precisely what we want :XD:), so at this point, put the flame as low as you can and don't stop stirring yet 'cause you are more closer to the final result, pay attention to the appearance of the mixture since it will change from an opaque look to a more translucent one, yet its color will be the same, once it has that translucent texture, turn off the stove and stop stirring, let it cool and there you go: good quality home-made paste! =D This thing is waaaaaaay more stronger than it looks once it's dry (a small piece made of 15 or more layers of paper mache pasted with well-cooked "engrudo" can become as sturdy as a stone, you could even give it a kick and it won't get broken at all -depending on its shape-) ;)

This paste must be kept refrigerated if you're not using it (for example, every time you must let a paper mache layer dry), this paste is technically food, so it can spoil quickly if it's not well preserved. Do not worry, if you used purified water, your paste would last from 1 to 2 -or even 3 if there's cold weather- weeks with no problem =)

If you try this recipe, do it with care, if you're also not very experienced at cooking, do not hesitate to ask someone else for help. Be careful and good luck! =)

Sadly, I can't respond to your reply. Following that joking comment, the artists blocked and banned me everywhere. I'm deviously denied.

sent an angel to watch over you last night but it came back.
I asked “why?”
The angel said “angels don't watch over angels.”
